< Solomon alias Richard Grundy :

* lives with his family in rural South Somerset

* is a qualified teacher, member of the General Teaching Council and holds current Enhanced Disclosure from Somerset County Council.

* has taught in several (Secondary Modern, Grammar and Comprehensive) schools in Worcestershire, Yorkshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset, including working as Head of Geography in two schools and Deputy Head in Glastonbury for fifteen years,then taking early retirement from contract teaching in 2003.

* left teaching to run the family grocery business on the ridge of the Malvern Hills for four years in the 1970s.

* was Senior Teacher in the world's most remote school - St Mary's School on the South Atlantic Island of Tristan da Cunha between 1982-1985. It was this experience that has inspired him to run Solomon's Project rather than retire or seek contract employment.

* Fit, mobile and willing to travel for interesting talks or teaching projects
* Playing regular tennis & golf
* Keen hill walker
* Lapsed folk singer now rejuvenating with the Brue Boys choir for men
* Looking for further challenges
