WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get)
Solomon's Project is not a specialist web design management company. Richard is a geography teacher with other leadership experience who has developed skills in producing and managing web sites. He is looking for the opportunity to run another site to add to the four already developed in the next year or two.

tristandc.com
Richard designs and manages this site on behalf of the Government of Tristan da Cunha and the UK-based Tristan da Cunha Association on a voluntary basis. It is a constantly developing information and news site which seeks to promote the island for tourism and sales of island goods (eg stamps and handicrafts). It received over 350,000 visitors and 8 million hits since its launch in 2005. It has over a hundred pages, so log on to www.tristandc.com - to check it out.

somertonprintery.com
was developed for The Somerton Printery Ltd which is a family run business in the historic market town of Somerton, formerly a capital of Wessex. Richard chose the Somerton Printery (from several local printers) and has been so pleased with the work in producing Tristan Newsletters and his Splendid Isolation Work Books, that he embarked on his first paid website project. www.somertonprintery.com is a 'one click' site with linked pages - log on to check it out.

brueboys.org.uk
is a site launched in January 2008 for the Brue Boys choir for men. Richard is one of the boys and the site provides information, publicises the choir's concerts and helps recruit new members.

Website Management
Richard offers a complete service and will organise domain registration (co.uk, com, org etc), design your website locally using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX , arrange web hosting and upload, maintain and update your site. He can undertake digital photography, producing appropriate text and help your organisation develop through a novel 'Business Partnership' scheme which Richard is pioneering.

The Bottom Line
solomonsproject will run a website for an amazingly low fee, but Richard will only work with companies or organisations which he supports and wants to work with. Especially small local organisations without a website.

A guide price for a small one-click site of up to 12 pages (like solomonsproject.co.uk) complete with design, domain registration and web hosting would be only £400 (£200 up front and £200 on satisfactory completion) and subsequently £200 a year. This also includes management of an email address linked to your domain - eg enquiries@solomonsproject.co.uk - for no extra charge.

Further options include traffic reports (monthly, 6 monthly or annually), photography, further pages and site structure. Price is also dependent on the level of detailed editing and writing required.

Interested?
Why not arrange a free, no-obligation meeting during which the aims and structure of the site can be discussed. A costed proposal will then be prepared for your consideration. Richard is particularly interested in working with other local small businesses or organisations to help promote their work through the internet.
Further information or bookings preferably by EMail to: enquiries@solomonsproject.co.uk
Richard refuses to use computer-speak and will converse in ordinary English with the aim of producing an economical and attractive site that works every time.
If you want a computer boffin to talk in complex ICT jargon - Solomons Project is not for you!
